Who we are

letsgo.ws ("letsgo", "we", "us") is a website host built for mobile. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site or use our service, including the letsgo.ws iOS app, and what we do with it.

App privacy at a glance

This summary maps to the App Privacy details shown on our App Store listing. Every type below is collected only to run the service, never for advertising or tracking.

  • Data collected:
    • Contact Info: your email address and account details.
    • User Content: photos you upload from your device, plus the text and images that make up your website.
    • Purchases: your subscription status and billing history (card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
    • Identifiers: the account ID we assign so we can associate your sites and settings with you.
    • Diagnostics: basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) used only to keep the service secure and prevent fraud.
  • Purpose: App Functionality only: creating your account, signing you in, taking payment for your subscription, publishing the site you build, and keeping the service secure.
  • Linked to your identity: Yes. This data is associated with your account.
  • Used to track you: No. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Information we collect

  • Account & site content. If you have an account, we store the content you create (your pages and text, plus photos you upload from your device's library or camera) and the account details needed to log you in. We access your photo library only when you choose to add a photo, and we upload only the images you select.
  • Payments & billing. When you subscribe, our payment processor handles your card details directly. We don't see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your subscription status and billing history so we can manage your plan and provide receipts.
  • Contact-form submissions. If your site uses a contact form, we process the messages your visitors send so we can deliver them to you.
  • Website analytics. On this marketing website we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It tells us aggregate things like which pages are popular, never who you are.
  • Visits to the sites we host. So that site owners can see whether anyone is finding their site, we count visits to the websites we publish for them. For each visit we record the page address, the time, the domain of the site that referred the visitor, and a one-way hash of their IP address and browser. That hash is built with a secret that changes every day and is tied to that one site, so it cannot be reversed, cannot be matched to the same person tomorrow, and cannot be matched to them on any other site. We never store the IP address itself, we set no cookies, and nothing at all is stored on the visitor's device. Only the site's owner sees the results, always as counts, and the records are deleted after 90 days.
  • Technical logs. Like most services, our servers automatically record basic data such as IP address and browser type solely to keep the service secure and prevent fraud. We don't use it to track you or for any other purpose.

How we use your information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve letsgo.ws.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To deliver contact-form messages to the site owner they were intended for.
  • To keep the service secure and detect abuse.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. We don't track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, we don't share your data with data brokers, and we don't use it for third-party advertising. We don't email you marketing you didn't ask for.

Who we share it with

We only share data with the service providers that help us run letsgo.ws, such as hosting and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound to protect it. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

This marketing site does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookie-free, and the sites we build and host for customers don't set analytics cookies either. The letsgo.ws app uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we delete it within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep it by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Just email privacy@letsgo.ws and we'll help. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

letsgo.ws is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product grows. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know by email.
